SplashSquad Program
(Stroke Technique & Endurance Development)
The SplashSquad Program is designed for swimmers who have completed Glider 8 and are looking to refine their technique, build endurance, and develop the skills required for competitive swimming. This program is ideal for swimmers who want to continue swimming for fitness or work toward joining a competitive team.
SplashSquad 1
Swimmers build a strong foundation in endurance and stroke mechanics with a focus on front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. Technique is emphasized through drills like dolphin kick and in-water starts, while short sprints and medley workouts help improve speed and stamina. The goal is to swim 300m continuously in 10 minutes while maintaining good form and pacing.
SplashSquad 2
This level increases swim distances and introduces more advanced technical elements, including flip turns and transitions between strokes. Swimmers continue to build power and efficiency in all four competitive strokes, while improving their ability to pace longer swims and track personal performance. The endurance swim target increases to 350m in 10 minutes.
SplashSquad 3
Swimmers complete full distances in all competitive strokes, including butterfly, and refine racing skills like flip turns, sprint sets, and medley relays. Focus shifts toward preparing swimmers for the expectations of pre-competitive or competitive swim teams, with a goal of completing a 400m swim in 10 minutes and executing efficient starts, turns, and finishes.
