New Families

  • Swimmers can start as young as 3 months in our Parent & Tot (bubbler)  program. Children 2 years and up can join our Preschool (splasher) program and swim independently without a caregiver in the water.

  • Not sure where to start? Reach out to our team, and we'll help place your swimmer in the right level. You can also browse our programs page for a breakdown of each level.

  • We register on a sessional basis with Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall and March Break sessions available each year. Registration opens a few months in advance — follow us on Facebook and Instagram and subscribe to our emails via the parent portal so you never miss a date!

  • Yes! Contact our team, and we'll pro-rate your fee based on the remaining classes in the session.

  • Swim lesson pricing is calculated based on a price-per-lesson multiplied by the number of weeks in a session. Because the number of weeks varies by season (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter), the total session cost will change accordingly.

  • We offer installment payment plans. Families may also be eligible for funding through KidSport Canada or Jumpstart. Please note our team is unable to assist with the application process.

  • Water anxiety is completely normal, and our instructors are experienced in helping nervous swimmers feel safe and comfortable. We take a patient, encouraging approach and never rush progress. Reach out to our team, and we'll make sure your child is set up for success from day one.

  • We do! When a friend or family member registers and mentions your name, you'll receive a $20 swim credit. This offer doesn't apply within the same immediate family.

I'm Registered, What's Next?

    • Bathing suit (wear it under your clothes to make things easier!)

    • Towel

    • Indoor shoes for the change room and pool deck

    • Hair elastic for long hair

    • Goggles (if recommended for your level)

    • A plastic bag for your wet suit

    • Any shower gear for a quick rinse after class

    • A Happy Nappy swim diaper if your child is under 2 or not fully potty trained

  • All classes are 30 minutes.

  • All swimmers under 3 years old or not fully potty trained must wear a reusable Happy Nappy swim diaper by Splash About. A Happy Nappy is included with all Bubbler enrolments. If you're in another program, you can purchase one at our front desk. Families are welcome to double up with a disposable underneath for easier cleanup.

  • Totally normal! Our instructors are well-equipped to help little ones make the transition. We may ask you to step out of their line of vision to help, and we'll keep you updated every step of the way.

  • We offer make-up classes! Just report your absence through the parent portal a minimum of 4 hours before your class. A make-up token will be added to your account automatically after the missed class, and you can use it to book a make-up based on availability. Note that make-up tokens are not granted for unreported absences.

  • Every swimmer learns at their own pace. Sessions vary in length, and as swimmers progress, the skills get more complex. We focus on building a strong foundation before moving swimmers along — quality over speed!

  • You're welcome to make a request, but we can't guarantee a specific instructor due to scheduling. Every member of our team is certified and trained to deliver the Splash N' Learn program.

  • Absolutely — life happens! Reach out to our team at info@splashnlearn.com, and we'll do our best to find a time that works for your schedule.

    • Cancellations made more than one week before the session start date receive a full credit with no penalty

    • Cancellations made less than one week before the session start date are subject to a $50 cancellation fee, with the remaining balance credited to your account

    • Once the session begins, classes that have occurred will not be credited. A $50 admin fee applies until registration closes, after which a $100 admin fee is deducted and remaining classes are credited to your account

    • Week-long summer sessions are not eligible for credit once started

  • Definitely! Just make sure only your child is in the shot. Videos are welcome too — keep them to 10 seconds max and check in with a staff member first. No photos or videos in the change rooms, please. And if you share on social, tag us at @splashnlearn!

  • Our pools are kept between 88–90°F (31–32°C) to ensure comfort for swimmers of all ages, especially infants and nervous swimmers.

  • We're almost always open rain or shine! If a cancellation is ever necessary, we'll notify you by email and post updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
