You will be charged a cancellation fee of $50 up until registration closes for the session, after which a $100 administrative fee will be deducted and the tuition fees for the remaining number of classes will be returned to your family swim account in the form of a credit. Please note that week-long summer sessions are not eligible for credit after the session has started.
We reserve the right to cancel lessons in extenuating circumstances and return the class fee in the form of a credit back to your family account.
We require all little ones under the age of two and all children who aren’t potty trained to wear a reusable Happy Nappy swim diaper (manufactured by Splash About). For our Parent and Tot classes, the Happy Nappy swim diaper will be included in the cost of your session. For our older level classes, a Happy Nappy swim diaper can be purchased prior to your first class through our front desk team. Families are welcome to double up and wear a disposable swim diaper underneath the reusable diaper for easier clean up if they’d like; however, only the reusable Happy Nappy swim diaper is required.
We do! We are so appreciative when our swim families refer friends and family and offer a $20 swim credit when your friend or family member registers and mentions your name. This offer isn’t available for family within the same immediate family (i.e. siblings, spouses).
In order to ensure that all of our students and team members are comfortable and lessons are free from distractions, we ask that parents and guardians watch the lesson from the comfort of our viewing area. It can often be more challenging for students who are adjusting to being away from parents and guardians to make that transition when loved ones are within view. Our team may ask you to step out of their line of vision to help during the first few weeks while your child adjusts to lessons with their instructor.
We register on a sessional basis with a winter, spring, summer, fall and march break session available each year. Registration will take place a few months in advance so keep an eye out for registration dates on our social media accounts. Be sure to subscribe to our emails via our registration portal for the most up-to-date information, straight to your inbox!
No, we do not offer a sibling discount.
All of our classes are offered at a 4:1 ratio (4 students to 1 instructor) with the exception of our Parent & Tot classes, which are offered at a 6:1 ratio (6 students to 1 instructor). If you’re looking for smaller ratio classes, be sure to reach out to our team as we offer smaller ratio classes at a premium.
Great question! We recommend bringing the following:
A bathing suit (feel free to wear this under your clothes to make things easier)
Indoor shoes for anyone entering the change rooms or going on the pool deck
Hair elastic to tie up long hair
A towel
Goggles (if recommended for your level)
Any shower gear you might need for a quick rinse after your lesson
A plastic bag for your wet bathing suit
Crying during your first class or a class after a long break is completely normal and our team is prepared and well equipped to help your little one make that transition. Often, tears can be caused due to being away from parents or guardians but our instructors will work hard to build trust and confidence in the water. We may ask you to step out of their line of vision to help with that transition but we’ll maintain open communication with you during this process to help make things easier for you and your child.

Yes, we do! We offer classes at a variety of different ratios based on request or necessity. If you’d like to look at booking a private or smaller ratio class, please email our team at info@splashnlearn.com for information on availability and pricing. We’re always happy to help!
While we always recommend attending all of your regularly scheduled classes for consistency and to see continuous progress, we understand that sometimes, things come up that are out of your control. That’s why we’re proud to offer make-up classes. We just ask that you report your absence via the parent portal prior to your class after which point, a make-up token will be automatically added to your account (after your class is missed). You can then use that make-up token to schedule your own make-up based on availability on the parent portal! A make up token will not be granted for any class missed and not reported prior to class.
The experience of each swimmer is unique which makes it difficult to predict how long it will take for individuals to “swim”. On average, it can take several sessions to complete each level as we believe in creating a strong foundation for each level, ensuring skills are mastered before moving students along. We always recommend that all of our swimmers complete the full program before stopping lessons because often, it isn’t enough to just know the basics as water conditions can change quickly and having skills beyond the basic can be essential for safety. If you’d like an update on your child’s progress and predicted rate of progress, it’s always a good idea to speak with our team at the pool as they’ll be able to speak directly to the current progress of each student.
We strongly believe that one of the best ways to ensure success when it comes to learning to swim is starting early. That’s why we offer free lessons for babies under 7 months of age. Interested in registering? Be sure to reach out to our team at info@splashnlearn.com or call us as registration will need to be completed on our end to ensure you receive this discount.
